Around 1910

She arrived today. Built around 1910 in Germany for export to the United States, so she is a bit over 110 years old. That might not sound very old but when I think about how the world was 110 years ago, then it sure feels like this violin was built in a very different dimension. I am by no means a violin specialist but in my ears she has a very warm and full tone. I think I like her.
